Alfa Herfstbok is our ruby-red bokbier, brewed to perfectly capture the essence of the season. Each year, our brewmasters craft a distinctive bokbier with a bold, caramel-like, and spiced flavor. Like all Alfa beers, our 2024 Herfstbok is brewed according to traditional methods, using certified pure spring water from our well in Schinnen. This year, our brewmasters have skillfully combined malts, including Chocolate Malt, with Mandarina hops and a floral hop bouquet. The result is a characterful beer with rich notes of caramel, chocolate, and mandarin, finished with a malty aftertaste.

Herfstbok is a beer style that originated in Germany and has been further refined in the Netherlands. Malt plays a central role, giving the beer its rich, full-bodied, and dark character. Every year, our carefully selected roasted malts form the foundation for the perfect color and a precisely balanced flavor profile of our exceptional specialty beer, Alfa Herfstbok.
